AtomChat won't load if your browser's Block Third-Party cookie setting is enabled. It restricts AtomChat to create chat-related cookies on your application. If you block third-party cookies, all cookies and site data from other sites will be blocked, even if the site is allowed on your exceptions list.
For AtomChat's Docked layout, the chat layout won't load but it will load a small icon with an exclamation mark and when you hover on it, it will show you a message to allow third-party cookies and a video link for reference.
Same for the Embedded layout, it won't load the chat layout but it will show you a message to allow third-party cookies.
To resolve this, you need to change your browser setting to Allow All Cookies. This issue majorly is seen on Chrome and Firefox browsers. So please refer to the following steps for the browser you are using:
For Chrome
On your system, open Chrome.
- At the top right, click More and then Settings.
- Click Privacy and security and then Cookies and other site data.
- Select the "Allow all cookies." option.
For Chrome Incognito Window
On Chrome incognito window, on a new incognito tab itself, there is a setting Block third-party cookies. You just need to disable it from there.
- Any changes you've made will automatically be saved.
- Now refresh your website page, and chat will load properly.
For Firefox
On your system, open Firefox.
- Click the menu button and select Settings.
- Select the Privacy & Security panel.
- Under Enhanced Tracking Protection, select the Custom radio button.
- Uncheck the Cookies option to allow all cookies.
- Close the about: preferences page. Any changes you've made will automatically be saved.
- Now refresh your website page, and chat will load properly.
