Integrating AtomChat with Your WordPress Multisite Environment: A Step-by-Step Guide

This guide provides a comprehensive step-by-step walkthrough for integrating AtomChat with your WordPress Multisite Environment.

Pre-requisites

Before we begin, ensure that you have administrative access to your WordPress network. Once that's confirmed, let's move ahead. 

Step 1: Installing the AtomChat Plugin

1. Access your WordPress Network Admin Dashboard: Start by opening your WordPress Network Admin Dashboard.

2. Go to the plugin section: From the dashboard, navigate to the plugin section.

3. Install AtomChat plugin: Look for the AtomChat plugin and install it. Please note that it's crucial to install the AtomChat plugin from the Network Admin Dashboard itself. 

Please refrain from Network Activating the installed AtomChat plugin at this stage. 

Step 2: Activation of AtomChat Plugin

Next, you need to activate the AtomChat plugin for each sub-site separately. Note: To avoid any cookie conflict, it's recommended to perform this step in a private or incognito window.

1. Open each sub-site dashboard: Go to the dashboard of each sub-site separately.

2. Navigate to the plugin section: Once you're on the dashboard, locate the plugin section.

3. Activate AtomChat plugin: From the list of available plugins, find AtomChat, and activate it separately for each subsite.
