Before proceeding, please make sure you have obtained the theme files, which usually come in a .zip format, from us.

Log in to Your WordPress Dashboard

1. Log in to your WordPress admin dashboard using your username and password. 

Typically, you can access it by adding "/wp-admin" to your website's URL (e.g., www.yourwebsite.com/wp-admin).

Access the Theme Installation Page

1. Once logged in, you'll be on the WordPress dashboard. Navigate to "Appearance" in the left-hand sidebar.

2. Click on "Themes" to access the Themes page.

Install the AtomUnity WP Marketplace Theme

1. On the Themes page, you'll see a list of currently installed themes. To install the AtomUnity WP Marketplace Theme, click the "Add New" button at the top of the page.

2. On the next page, you'll see a search bar. If you have the theme files in a .zip format, click the "Upload Theme" button located at the top of the page.

3. Click the "Choose File" button and select the .zip file of the AtomUnity WP Marketplace Theme that you downloaded.

4. After selecting the file, click the "Install Now" button.

5. WordPress will now upload and install the theme. This may take a few moments.

Activate the AtomUnity WP Marketplace Theme

2. After activating the theme, you will be automatically redirected to a setup wizard provided by the theme.

Follow the Setup Wizard

1. The setup wizard is designed to simplify the initial configuration process. It will guide you through the following tasks:

Plugin Installation:

The wizard will prompt you to install and activate any required plugins for the AtomUnity WP Marketplace Theme. These plugins are essential for the theme's full functionality.

Demo Content Import:

The wizard WILL offer the option to import demo content. Importing demo content can help you get started quickly by populating your website with sample data, including pages, posts, and images, to mimic the theme's demo site.

Once you've completed the setup wizard, your theme will be ready to use and will closely resemble the demo site.

Activating AtomChat

After completing the setup wizard, you will see a prompt to activate the AtomChat plugin.

What is AtomChat?

AtomChat is the easiest way to add text chat and video calling for end-users of your website to chat with each other. You can add a layer of communication for your vendors and buyers to connect, share images ask questions. 

If you do not have an AtomChat subscription, this is optional and can be done later. 

Test Your Website

After completing the setup wizard, navigate to your website's front end (the public-facing part of your site) to ensure that the theme is displaying correctly.

That's it! You have successfully installed and activated the AtomUnity WP Marketplace Theme on your WordPress website!

In the Themes page, you'll see the theme you just activated listed as the "Active" theme.

You can now proceed with further customization and configuration, such as adding content, configuring plugins, and making design adjustments, to create your desired online marketplace.
